Supremacy FC4

November 2011 Supremacy FC4

Paul Gregson and Wayne Lewis fought on this event, the fourth installment of Supremacy FC in Gateshead.
Paul went toe to toe with the unbeaten and more experienced Dave Bowmer (The Dungeon). This was Pauls third semi-pro fight and his first at lightweight (his others were at welter). It was non-stop from the bell with Paul loosing on decision. Very proud of him, not least for being the first person to take Davie the distance! He will learn from it and move on.
Wayne made his second succesfull defence of his British Title beating Wayne Coxon in round 1 via armbar, and is now 6-0-0.

This was the best we have seen both of them fight. The atmosphere for Wayne's fight was unreal! One of the best Supremacy's to date!

Supremacy 2: New British Champion :)

Congratulations to Chrissy Quinn and Wayne lewis who fought on Michael Surtees top Northeast Promotion Supremacy Fight challenge 2.
Chrissy had a very tough first round and despite winning the round on the judges scorecard, he sustained a serious fracture to his orbital bone and the medic refused to let him continue (although Chrissy wanted too). No one wants to loose on a doctor stoppage, but Chrissy's superb performance earned him semi-pro fighter of the night. Well done mate.

Wayne lewis brought his semi-pro record to 4-0-0 and won the Semi-Pro british Title. Having had some very tough opposition in previous fights, one of which saw Wayne stopping the excellent James brown in 56 seconds, this should on paper, have been straightforward, however his opponent, a very game Onur Cagler was the first person to take Wayne out of the first round and make him work, work, work (Just as it should be in a Title Fight) but Waynes skills and conditioning seen him through to win by triangle that was an almost carbon copy of the finish in his fight against Brown.
Very proud of Wayne, he deserved the shot and deserved the win, good work gadget!

Kamikaze @ liquid envy 6th March 2011

Chrissy Quinn made his MMA semi-pro debut on this show. His opponent made quite an entrance, this didnt bother Chrissy one bit though and he stopped the lad in the second round, his stand-up far too strong. Well done Chrissy!

Stew Ashcroft also fought, this being his second semi-pro fight at heavyweight and Stew worked very hard, stopping Sunderlands Callum Cook via armbar in round 2. Awesome performance from the big lad!

Well done lads!

Supremacy FC Fed Brewery 27th Feb 2011

Paul 'The Pitbull' Gregson had his first fight against the more experienced Anthony Frankland (Team Akurei) and won via unanimous decision after 3 very tough rounds. Anthony was using his reach advantage well standing and gave Paul a very hard second round with some accurate knees to the head. Paul showed composure to keep himself in the game and continued to dominate on the floor. an outstanding first fight from a talented young man.

Wayne 'Go Go Gadget' Lewis was up against his toughest opponent yet, James Brown (The Dungeon, Sunderland). Wayne went into the fight as the underdog and had trained very, very hard in preperation for the fight. Once again however the Walker lad showed his skill on the ground, winning via triangle in 57 seconds of the first round. he is now 3-0 semi-pro and has won each fight by first round submission.

Extremely proud of both of you.
